Swipeable Video Feed
A powerful vertical video feed with swipe navigation, social interactions (like, comment, share, follow), dual video sources (file upload OR cloud URLs to bypass 50MB limit), and full cross-platform support.
Comments Modal
A sliding comments modal with threaded replies, likes, image attachments, smart sorting (newest/top), engagement scoring, and soft delete logic that does not delete replies if parent comment is deleted.
Good components @JasonM! By any chance, do you have a demo video that can attach here? Reason is that some makers doesn’t check the demo app sometimes and would love to see how the component works through a video.
Also I see it’s under-review by the team but both as $30 and not $40. Could you confirm that?
I do not have a demo video made yet, but will be glad to make one. The price should be $40 not $30. I tried to fix the price in an update but it did not stick. I think $40 is a fair price for these components, but I welcome any input from the Adalo team and App Makers about pricing.
You can upload videos using Adalo’s file picker, but as you know, that has a 50 MB limit. To get around the 50 MB limit, I added the ability for the component to play videos from URLs from cloud based services like Cloudflare. In fact, the first four videos in the demo use the URL from videos stored on Cloudflare. The last 2 videos were uploaded with the file picker.
I created a demo video, and tried to upload it here, but the system does not allow video files, so I created a link to the video and posted it in the original comment. Is that okay? I pasted the link below as well.
