# "Bug: 'Invalid Email or Password' error when logging in with a valid, freshly-registered user (web preview / share link)

_I’m building an app with a standard Sign Up → Log In flow. Sign Up works correctly (the user IS created in the Users collection with the correct email/password). However, when I try to log in with that same, freshly created account on the Log In screen, I consistently get ‘Invalid Email or Password’, even though:_  
_- The credentials are 100% correct (copy-pasted, no typos)_  
_- I’ve rebuilt the Log In screen from scratch, double-checking there are no duplicate/hidden components_  
_- I’ve tried in Chrome, Safari, and incognito mode_  
_- I’ve added a ‘Log Out’ action on screen load to the Log In screen (as suggested in another thread), but the issue persists_  
_- Registering a brand NEW account and using it immediately for other actions works fine; it’s specifically the Log In action with an EXISTING user that fails_

_Is this a known issue with the web preview / share-link environment specifically? Would this also happen in a published app, or is it a preview-only limitation?"_
