# Cannot get the components nicely aligned vertically

Hi everyone, for some reason I cannot get the components nicely aligned on the screen.

It’s a:

- Custom List
- Text
- Simple list

This is how it looks like:

I cannot get rid of the space between the custom list and the title somehow. Any tips?  
Thanks for every help/suggestion.

Some ideas:

- Try to remove the padding in the Custom list setting  
and/or

- Use a Custom List for both component so you will be able to align things correctly

- Put the height of the first list just enough for 1 item

Thanks for your suggestions Amber.

I tried everything and eventually adding another custom list to it, did the trick. Not sure why it was so hard and why it didn’t showed up how it was designed though.
