# Coneable App for Adding Durations of Time to Dates

Hi all, I recently made a [cloneable](https://help.adalo.com/how-to/how-to-clone-an-app) example app for a forum post asking about working with dates and durations of time in your Adalo apps. Thought others might find this helpful as well.

Ok, based on this I’m thinking you might be the Adalo “working with dates” expert!

I have an expiration date field on my users’ profiles. I want to trigger an action when the expiration is near (like maybe 30 days out).

My question is, what logic can I use to detect that the date is within 30 days?
