I am trying to add a quote of the day to the home screen. The quotes collection has 2 fields - quote and date added. I don’t see the two fields from the quote collection or any way to add a filter to the quotes collection to retrieve a single field.
you can make the text become a Custom List. Just click on the text, click on the three bullet sign > make a List.
Then you select the text to become a List of Quote Collection.
Then you double click again on the text, add the text magic. Then you’ll see your Current Quote > Content (or whatever field you have).

Thank you @projectlinuxsupports. This is my first app and this helped a lot. I guess it is a platform design where things are added as a list in the builder and then filtered down.
