Duplicating image lists

I’m creating a trucking app which includes the makes(ISUZU, FUSO), sub makes(GIGA, FIGHTER) and models(WING VAN, DROPSIDE) of all the units, the models are common for all the submakes. I entered all the unit details in the database. When I try retrieving a model it gets duplicated. I keep getting duplicated categories on my image list screen. How do I fix this?
