# Email already exists even if it doesn't

Hi Team,

I kind of like modified my Sign Up page and removed the password. However, upon signing up a new email, it throws and error that the email already exist even if it doesn’t.

Something like this…

But the user email does not exist yet.

I need to file a bug…

This has been fixed by a work around. → [Email already exists even if it doesn't | Voters | Adalo](https://ideas.adalo.com/bugs/p/email-already-exists-even-if-it-doesnt)

Solution: Adding a default value for a password. 🙂
