# Help with Airtable

Hi guys, I have managed to connect to Airtable via the API.

But now when I try to access the properties via a list i can only get to the Airtable id and createdTime, no other records are visible although I have a few rows and columns in the table. Anything I’m missing here?

Hi @Nemorila,

Before you add a new external collection, make sure that _all_ values in Airtable’s columns are filled-in.  
As I understand Adalo determines the structure of external collection based on returned values for 1st record, and if they are empty, Airtable doesn’t return them 🙂
