I’m new here and can’t believe that Adalo can’t be used to build horizontally orientated apps. Is that really true? Or does anyone have a clue if and how this works?

Adalo doesn’t support locking the orientation horizontally. You can turn your phone sideways for landscape if auto-rotate is enabled on your phone settings, but you can’t actually lock your app into landscape mode permanently. It’s just how Adalo is set up right now.
