# Input Type + Max Length BUG

**Input \> Type \> Number** accepts letters “e” “E” as previously noted by **bibipac**  
**Max Length** works as intended on all type fields except “number” - no limit to how many you can input.  
case study could be limiting price to 99 or 999

ohhh, I m needing some Max length rule to be working right now with numbers !  
…so it’s not working well you say ? 🤔

yes so, the max length rule works on all field types except numbers

Hmm…I ll see that, so meanwhile maybe with a filter then to force a lower value…  
if ValA \> 1000  
Val = 1000 !

True, it doesnt work on number, you need to vote here for that CHANGE REQUEST to get some higher priority !
