Hello guys,

Just want to know if it can be possible to link 2 app together,

I have in mind to make an application for a team staff, that can create product, add images and other stuff.

And a second one for the client, but the second one need to be able to get the data from the 1st one.

I think with sheet bridge a lot can be done, but is there an other way that you can think of ?

Hi! How are you? Yes, absolutely. Adalo has a built-in feature that lets multiple apps share the same database. Here is the documentation link for more details… I currently have 6 apps sharing the exact same database. You can build different features or user experiences in each app while drawing from a single central DB.

Thanks for the documentation,

But is it possible to select only a few Collection and not the whole Database ? When I follow the tutorial the whole database is shared between my apps, but I would like to share content but not share the Users collection.

I don’t think so. When you share the database, it’s all the same since it’s the same app… what would be the problem if you didn’t want everything? Is there a specific reason? Otherwise, you could use a single database but connect it via API.

Because I want one app to be public and the second one private. (One for client, other for staff)

But to go to the private one I will just add a settings on the user collection manually and delete the Sing Up Page and I think that will do the deal 👍

Thanks for the infos

Exactly, keep in mind that the database and the front end are two different things. You decide what the user sees directly in the front end. When everything is built inside a single app, you have to rely heavily on conditional logic. But if you split it into 3 separate apps—Client, Vendor, and Admin—you simply display different data in each app.

For example:

- **Client App:** Show all businesses / Show orders placed by the logged-in user.

- **Vendor App:** Show only my business / Show orders where Vendor ID equals the logged-in user, etc.

- **Admin App:** Show all orders / Show all users / Show all businesses, etc.

The user will only see whatever you decide to expose in that specific app’s UI."
