On Change vs. On submit actions

I have an input component, and I am trying to understand how the actions work;
On submit vs. On Change (without a button)

Is it supposed to update when user exits field?
I assume that it will work if I add a button, but will it work without one?

Hi @C3PO,

On Change actions should fire as you typing, the property would keep updating with the new characters you type in the input.

On Submit actions should fire, once you type in the input and hit enter.
