# Problem with date formatting for custom action

Hi

I’m trying to set up a custom action to send an array of data from Adalo to Airtable. I am building a gig admin app, and a gig has two relationships: Acts and Venues. So in Airtable we have a Gigs table, with a link to both the Acts Table and the venues table.

In adalo, I have connected everything so that on the create gig page, I have a dropdown of venues. The attached images show the field properties in Airtable, how the custom action is set up, and the error message.

I am surprised it isn’t natively handling the ISO format.

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi @RozzMa,

That’s not how you map the inputs in a custom action. You can just write the JSON and then inside “”, you can add the input from magic text (T icon).
