Responsiveness and Shared Layout

Can anyone recommend me an excellent video on learning how to use the “shared layout” function?
One of the training videos I watched suggested it’s easier to start by designing a mobile screen first and then restructure that screen for tablet or desktop after the fact. That led me to learning how to use shared layout. The mobile screen looked beautiful but then my desktop did not. Even after I had utilize the shared layout function so that the components would behave one way on the mobile device and behave another way on the desktop version. So I think I’m missing something and I just need a little bit more of a deep dive on how to use this functionality.

Thanks!

Bro, that’s it! That’s exactly what I needed to see. Every newbie should watch this video. I had to pause it several times to take detailed notes, but I completely understand how to move forward now. Thank you so much! :facepunch:

Nevermind :face_exhaling:
I thought that following the instructions would work but it didn’t. As soon as I had finished the mobile screen and started to edit the tablet screen, the mobile became messed up - even though I had grouped my boxes and set each layout as mobile.

I can think of a possible workaround…I’m going to have to make copies of every gd component and make them only visible on each screen size.

I’m really sorry that happened to you. I see that you contacted the Adalo staff. I think that’s the best option if you did everything they said.
