# Source code download

is it still not possible to download the source code for the app i created in Adalo? The whole reason i began using adalo was because supposedly “WE” owned the app, which I assumed meant if I ever needed to, I could download the code. Now it seems like this may not be possible and I have wasted my time and money. Am i missing something? If we truly dont OWN the app code, then this is just a scam like bubble was.

No, Adalo does not currently allow you to download the source code for apps built on their platform. While there has been discussion about adding this feature, it is not available at this time​  
. If you need full control over your app’s code, you may want to consider other development platforms.

well shoot, that sucks. And i just started paying for Adalo also to publish my app.

Dear @gabby,

If you can provide help to others, please share your solutions on the forum. Inviting users to private whatsapp calls do not bring any benefit to the community. Also before advising it is highly recommended to test the solution by yourself and verify that it works correctly.
