Stripe Connect account ID not saving to Logged In User

Hi,

I am using the Stripe Connect component in Adalo with live Stripe credentials.

Vendors can complete the Stripe Connect onboarding successfully, but the connected Stripe account ID (acct_...) is not being saved in my Adalo Users database. I created a Text field called Stripe Acc ID, but it remains blank after connecting.

In the component settings, Adalo shows Logged In User → Current User → Stripe ID, but I cannot find an action that saves the returned Stripe connected-account ID into my Stripe Acc ID field. I saw the same issue was raised in the forum back to October, 2020, surely after six years someone resolved this problem?

What is the correct way to automatically save each vendor’s Stripe Connect account ID to their logged-in user record after onboarding?

Hi there,

Welcome to the community!

Regarding your question, if you’re using the Stripe Connect component, you simply need to connect with the field. To do this, click on the logged-in user’s Stripe account ID field and it will automatically be saved. If it doesn’t save, I think that’s a bug. You can raise a ticket for it, but it’s working fine for me.

Thank you for your response. I confirm it’s a bug we have been trying to resolve for quite a time. Tech support is involved. I’ll keep updating here.

FYI: The Adalo tech support has solved the problem and the Stripe account IDs are saving now in my users database. :slightly_smiling_face:
