# The Share action is causing error messages

I have a Share action set to share plain text (an email address).

On the iPhone when I press the associated button I get this error message. The error message appears twice - I have to press Close twice.

After the second time I press close, the iOS share system does actually appear.

Hi @Torrsy,

Unfortunately, sharing is not supported for PWAs. You need to have a native app to use this function.

Thanks for your reply.

Native iOS sharing from a PWA does work. It may not be supported by Adalo, but it is supported in PWA’s by competitive services such as Glideapps.

Hi @Torrsy,

As you’ve asked the question showing your app in Adalo, in my reply I was implicitly meaning Adalo apps. For _Adalo_ apps sharing in PWAs is not supported. Probably I didn’t formulate my answer precisely enough.

For PWAs in general sharing _could_ be supported on some platforms and in some browsers, you’re right. As I understand this is done via WebShare API. I can imagine that some custom component could be built for this - or we should wait till Adalo implements it 🙂
