Dropdown Element

  • default selection (eg, Current record’s category)
  • on change, trigger action
  • ability to make mandatory (eg, cannot be blank)
  • ability to change placeholder text (eg, to other than “Select…”)
  • ability to reset a dropdown’s input as an Action
  • ability to update a dropdown’s selected record as an Action

This is very much required - Ability to reset dropdown’s input values on click of action buttons to develop calculators kind of apps. Please take this for next release.

This should have been released along with the feature..It simply implied!!

Hariprasad: I believe these fields auto reset to “empty” when you are actually using the mobile app, at least from what I have read on the forum. They just don’t reset when in the previewer or web-viewer of your app while building.

Allow us to customize the style of the component too would be nice! So it will match my app. I just want to be able to add more padding to it. Also I think this would be a great a idea as well.
