Any way to Store SVG LOGOS to be displayed in the Image Frame?

Does anyone knows if Adalo could store an SVG “vector image” in the database to later use the Image component to"render" the image in a screen once needed. i.e Shapes of a Logo, etc…

Our image component doesn’t currently support displaying svgs, but this would be a good feature to add. I also would not be surprised if someone builds and svg component from the Adalo marketplace

I would love to use svg but… 24 weeks later we still don’t have it :pensive:

I may have found a workaround using the Lottie component.

  1. Install the Lottie component
  2. Visit Convert SVG to Lottie
  3. Upload your SVG and generate the JSON code
  4. Go back to Adalo and paste the JSON into the Lotti component

Seems to work and keeps the scalable/vector nature of the original SVG.

Thank you so much! This really helped and is a great way until we get support for svg files.

I use this a lot. Haven’t figure out how to do it in lists yet since Lottie component don’t have magic text. Anyone know a good work-around?
