Custom component - provide data outside

Hi Everyone!
I’m writing a custom component and the component is really similar to “Location input”. Same behaviour but the reason is 3rd service provides better results than Google search.

Questions:

  1. Does anyone have the experience to provide data outside of the custom component? I would like to have a variable and use it after submitting button.
  2. In the Database, I already have the “Location input” type. Is possible to parse data to this type?
