I show many video clips and it would be good, if the media which has been seen once, could be saved locally, so that internet traffic could be reduced
That’s actually a good idea imo. Maybe it’s helpful for the success of this feature requests to call it “caching media files” instead of “download media”, to avoid confusion with actively downloading images, videos, etc.
