How is the default screen determined on an Adalo app? In other words, what determines which screen appears first when someone launches the app?

When you click on a screen, you’ll have the option to select what screen is shown to the user depending if their logged in or not.
If they’re logged in, you would want to show the “Home Screen”, typically the dashboard in an app:
If they’re not logged in, you would want to show the “welcome screen”, which is typically the splash screen, or signup/login screen:
