This fix has been deployed now. Sorry for the trouble! đ Bug Fix: Side Navigation Not Stretching to 100% Height | Adalo Changelog
Many thanks to you and your team for a job well done.
I checked the pages of the site and I can say the following.
All pages, with the exception of one, are displayed correctly.
One page displays a menu with an error in its position on the page layout. The error lies in the fact that the menu, unlike the previous time, is stretched in absolute length correctly, but its location has shifted down for an unknown reason.
I didnât take any action.
Attached is a picture showing the error.
@adalojosh
I am attaching additional screenshots.
The first one shows the problem with the menu shifting down.
The second one shows that on a page with a similar layout, everything began to display correctly.
@adalojosh
I just wanted to remind you that the issue has been partially resolved and I still hope that it will be fully resolved.
Hmm so the same nav is displaying differently on different pages? Can you try copy/pasting the one that is working into the other screen? Does that fix it?
@adalojosh
Thanks for your reply.
I tried to do as you said. Unfortunately, this did not work.
In addition to the above method, I also tried to add a menu component from a previously created copy of the application. It also didnât work.
Unfortunately, the problem with this page persists.
@adalojosh
As far as I understand, the state of affairs does not depend on my actions.
The error appeared when the menu blocks on the entire website began to display incorrectly. Now you have made the correction and all menu blocks, with the exception of one, have returned to their original form.
So the problem persists.
Donât misunderstand my obsession. The fact is that this problem limits us in performing certain actions.
I will look forward to your reply
I took a look at one of your screens with the issue and moved your nav component to the right, then put it back. That seemed to refresh it to the most recent version and fixed the issue. Can you confirm? If youâre still seeing the issue, please write into support with a list of links to apps and screens displaying the issue so I can show my engineers. Thanks!
Thank you very much for your work.
Unfortunately, I cannot confirm that the issue has been resolved. Currently, the menu also has a gap at the top. And the lower part âslidâ down.
Thank you! I will write to the support service, attach screenshots, a link to the problem page and a link to this discussion.
Thanks a lot
Hi @adalojosh
I hope youâre well.
I sent a support request a week ago, but still havenât received a response.
Should I be worried about this?
Or is it still early and everything is going well?
Hi @adalojosh
Is it possible to expect any feedback from you?
Today exactly 33 days have passed since the problem exists.
Can we hope that the menu issue can be resolved?
Hi @RGBRockets! Thank you for the reminder. It looks like that particular screen didnât pick up the latest Side Navigation version where this is fixed. We are taking another look into whatâs causing it. Meanwhile, you can solve it by following the steps below for every screen affected. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please let us know if this issue reappears on your end after following the steps.
- Drag the Side Navigation a bit to the right and drop it.
- Click outside the Navigation component to deselect it
- Drag it back to its original intended position
Super!
Thank you very much, everything worked out!
I am very grateful to you!
