If you’ve published an app before, you know “the app is built” is only step one.
Screenshots for every store size, privacy policy, terms of service, store listing fields, data safety answers, and it keeps going.
Adalo Publishing Studio takes care of it
Restyle your whole screenshot set with a template Generate your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service Get pre-filled store listing fields, ready to paste Export at the exact sizes each store requires
This is cool and all, but we’d much rather see the Adalo team work on things that would actually make a bigger impact. Adalo still feels clunky in comparison to other tools (Bubble, Glide, FlutterFlow, etc). There are already a ton of tools out there that do these things for super cheap.
I can imagine that I’m not the only one that would rather see the focus shift toward improving the core builder experience: better performance, fewer bugs, more components, additional conditional visibility rules, additional conditional actions, and long-requested quality-of-life improvements that make building apps faster and more reliable. Those are the kinds of changes that would benefit every developer on the platform and make Adalo much more competitive.
Absolutely fair, Flawless! Things are in the works, very excited for you to try them soon. Adalo Publishing Studio is a part of our positioning going forward.
By the time you’ve finished building an app in Adalo, worked through all the screens, fixed the bugs, and finally have everything working, you’re usually running on empty.
Then comes the publishing process.
Now you have to deal with App Store and Play Store requirements, screenshots, privacy policies, terms of service… it’s a completely different task, and honestly one that can be mentally exhausting after all the development work.
Having a tool that simplifies this final stretch is a huge win. It means once you’ve spent all your energy building the app, you don’t have to spend another few hours designing store graphics and figuring out all the publishing assets.
I can definitely see this coming in handy. Nice addition to the Adalo ecosystem
Hi, I’m working through the Studio using my current draft app and I’m wondering about the Marketing section. Example “Pre-launch” drops down a list of tasks, but what is the function of the “Generate” button? The ICON suggests an AI function although I receive the error “Generation failed. Please try again”. How does this work? Thanks, Jim.
Hi Dillon, no I didn’t see a popup, only the red text “Generation failed. Please try again” shown in the attached screenshot. I have used AI to create the Privacy and Terms and Condition documents. I am on the Professional subscription, so Studio is included.
That’s correct, thanks for the information Jimmy! If you click the generate button today, do you still see the error message? What if you click the generate button for like launch day section, post-launch section ,etc? Will share this with the team!
This is incredible, Dilon! Thank you. Having the marketplace story built into Adalo Studio itself, not just featured, means a lot. Proud to be building success stories with Adalo, and excited for what’s next.
