iOS 17 SDK since April 29 - is it an issue?

Hi everybody,

Apple sends the following warning on my recent builds:

Hello,

We noticed one or more issues with a recent delivery for the following app:

** APP NAME*
** Version VERSION NAME*
** Build BUILD NAME*

Although delivery was successful, you may want to correct the following issues in your next delivery. Once you’ve corrected the issues, upload a new binary to App Store Connect.

ITMS-90725: SDK version issue - This app was built with the iOS 16.2 SDK. Starting April 29, 2024, all iOS and iPadOS apps must be built with the iOS 17 SDK or later, included in Xcode 15 or later, in order to be uploaded to App Store Connect or submitted for distribution.

Apple Developer Relations

I see there were similar questions related to former iOS versions.
But still just wanted to double-check - won’t be there any issues with the app from April 29?

Hey, the Adalo staff are aware of this and the changes will be made prior to this date. I raised this myself with them directly. Cheers

I submitted a ticket with them as well and they responded that they are working on it.

Hi, Is there any update? Users are unable to upload photos with the new ios version 17.3.1. Any info is gratefully received.

Hey sorry no nothing more. If this is the case and it’s causing issues definitely submit a support ticket so they are aware.

Hi, Thanks a lot. I’ll submit a ticket now.

Thanks, Liz

Just tried again and it seems to be working fine. Not sure what’s gone on.

Liz
