Update Actions, Webhook Triggers, etc
Would be awesome to have Update / Delete actions as Zapier triggers as well next to the existing Create
Push notifications ?
Push notification action in Zapier will be very useful
Would be great to be able to search for a user on email to get the user id.
Need have either ability to return the user record ID on creation of a new Adalo user in the response variables or add a new action called “Query Adalo Collections” and have ability to retrieve it that way. Currently no way to chain multiple zap steps together and add/modify records that involve the newly-created user.
Would be great if you could implement Webhooks for Zapier to increase time (and make instant). Polling limits are not the problem - I’ve tried their pro plan and spoken with their team too. Webhook support would be great!
Yes being able to fire a Zap on update to an Adalo record would be very useful especially in absence of the ability to query Adalo collections from external services. 1000 upvotes for this one…
Frances: I’m not following this request… you can use webhooks now in Zapier as a trigger and then do an action in Adalo. Can you give a specific example of what you’re looking to do with webhooks?
Sean Tierney: sure- my product is a chatbot product. To trigger action using the setup I have (Adalo- zapier- chatbot platform) takes 20 minutes from one end to the other. So the chatbot responds far too slow
It’s not a zapier issue - I’ve got their premium plan so it’s not on their end.
Frances: But I don’t understand: so you’re looking for a more immediate way for events in Adalo to post to your chat bot? Have you looked into MixPanel? That integration is there now and events are tracked in real-time. You would have to play with it but I bet there is a way to leverage the MP customer journeys to accomplish what you want now in terms of immediacy of triggering an external call
Integromat / full api access docs please. Zapier is for bubbas
Search in Zapier would be great but agree with everyone about webhooks too
Hamish Mac: Patrick Ford did a youtube tutorial on Adalo/Integromat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g71Qyq4FlVc
Actions that occur over time, such as a time schedule, are required.
