New Component: Option Selector β€” Now on the Marketplace! πŸŽ‰

Hey Adalo Community! :waving_hand:

I’m excited to share a new component that’s now available on the Adalo Marketplace:

Option Selector

Tap a button, get the value – with optional follow-up sub-options

A fully configurable button-row picker with Magic Text output. Users tap a circle, square, or any shape to make a selection, with an optional second row of contextual sub-options appearing after the first pick.

Key Features

:white_check_mark: Up to 10 configurable options – set label and value independently per button
:white_check_mark: Selected Value and Sub-Option Value available as Magic Text outputs
:white_check_mark: Optional sub-options row per selection – different options for each button tapped
:white_check_mark: X button resets both selections and collapses the sub-options row
:white_check_mark: Single style setting applies uniformly to all buttons (primary and sub)
:white_check_mark: Roundness slider from 0 (square) to 50 (full circle)
:white_check_mark: Full color control: unselected and selected background, border, and text
:white_check_mark: Optional labels above and below the button row
:white_check_mark: Default value pre-selects a button on load
:white_check_mark: Works on Web, iOS, and Android

Perfect For

β€’ Survey and feedback forms with 1–5 rating scales or word-based options
β€’ Appointment booking with time-of-day selection and specific slot sub-options
β€’ Onboarding questionnaires collecting multiple answers across a screen
β€’ Product configurators with a top-level choice and follow-up refinement
β€’ Priority or status pickers that store machine-readable values behind human-readable labels

How to Get It

  1. Open your Adalo app editor
  2. Click the + button to open the Add Components panel
  3. Browse Marketplace Components or search for β€œOption Selector”
  4. Click to add it to your app β€” done!

If you have any questions or feedback, drop a comment below. I’d love to hear how you’re using it! :rocket:

Selection for a primary button doesn’t show for me.

When clicking a primary button, if no secondary option is available, all I can see are the top and bottom labels and the reset button sitting in front.

When selecting a primary button with a secondary option available, it appears to show only the secondary options.
