New Component: Text Container Pro — Now on the Marketplace! 🎉

Hey Adalo Community! :waving_hand:

A styled text display with three size modes — fixed with scroll, expand to fit, or show more/less

Display long-form text with background, border, and three size modes. Fixed mode scrolls within a set height. Expand mode grows to fit all content. Show More/Less truncates with a tappable toggle. Supports selectable text for copy/paste.

Are these free? Thanks.

Yes, Mark!

Great! For the date picker, would that work for like a payroll system? Let’s say we can pick the pay-period. Would it allow us to do that? Can it sort certain records when pick “from certaind date” to another date?

Thanks again.

Mark

Hi @AKyle

That’s great addition. After testing it I have few suggestions for improvement -

  1. Ability to change the color of show more/less button.
  2. Markdown format not working. It will be great if the component support markdown format too.
  3. Option to choose font family (Heading or Body).

@App_Up2, apologies for the delayed reply! Using the date range picker, you can select a start date and then the end date and we can map the selected start & end dates in list filters too, learn more. : Date Range Picker | Adalo Resources

Other 2, in-progress.

Really like the “show more / less” option in this component. A lot of apps struggle with balancing clean layouts and long text content, especially on mobile screens. Having all three display modes in one component seems way more flexible than stacking multiple workarounds together in Adalo.
