Table Component

A simple table component that lets you display list data in columns and rows.

I have been asking for this for so long. It’s so hard to get headings to line up with the actually list I create to make my own table. Most of the time I have to delete and deal with the basics list. Which are not the best because this multi billion dollar company I’m working for wants more data on the list for staff to be able to view data.

This is a must

I am with you Devin. A table (like a grid in visual basic or a portion of a spreadsheet) is a fundamental component for business apps. Ordering, invoice, statistics, Purchase Orders, Delivery tracking and on and on.
I have had to make do with a simple list and try to order the properties that are displayed so that they are not too out of alignment, but this is not very professional looking. If adalo wants to expand revenue streams, I believe it will be with businesses accepting this no code platform – but need some more professional components.

  1. Table/grids – see above
  2. Copy function - to copy records.
  3. Inline list property value changes and copy to a new record. Great for issuing periodic orders that are usually much the same – so something like … Create Order - based on existing order or from scratch - if based on existing order, user inputs that order number and application copies all the order and orderItems to new one.
  4. Ability to revise anything on a record that has not been finalized yet. Productivity feature.
Happy to assist Adalo designers with user stories to help you understand my suggestions.
    Many thanks, Mary

This is very important component. Please add.

MJ Pender: yes I absolutely agree. Ben Haefele

MJ Pender: Josh Johnson

Devin Rossey: Hey Devin, thanks for contributing suggestions. We do see each new post that comes in so please refrain from @ mentioning Adalo staff on each new post. Thanks!

Josh Johnson: of course, and this is not a new post by the way.

Have there been any updates on this? Really awesome product but would need grid/table capabilities to make it work for my use case.

The missing data table component is to me (besides missing data charts add-ons) the feature where Adalo is most behind competitors. There are tons of very basic table features available for each CSS; Tailwind has imo the most advanced ones incl. advanced search and layout options (see Tailwind CSS Datatables - Free Examples & Tutorial).

Willing to support Adalo team with concrete data use cases and real-life user stories supporting to make it happen.

Josh Johnson Yay so exciting!!!

Our new table component is now live!
