A Button with 3 actions not working properly

I have a button that has 3 actions, Create a Collection, Update a Collection, and Link to another screen, in that order. When the Link action is active, only the first action happens to Create the record and the second action updates the other database only partially. When the Link action is Deleted from the button, both the Create and Update Actions work fully and properly. Does anybody know why this is?
