Awesome! Can’t wait for the roadmap
One thing I would love to see Adalo add is a feature for multiple images upload & even video uploading!

I think the roadmap is going to be great, hope to have it here soon. And I couldn’t agree more, the multiple images upload feature would be a very cool addition!
@james.crennan just a thought, it would be really cool if you did a podcast with JJ Englert sometime on “No Code This Week” - x.com
It would really share you and your teams goals of improving Adalo and it would certainly gain new users/ideas!
hey guys
Thanks for the recommendation @TechaSoftware–right now we’re elbows deep overhauling infrastructure and engaging our amazing community ecosystem to bring about the vision that >240 Adalo Makers have told me personally on calls. I’d be happy to reach out to them once we’ve delivered on our commitments
Hi James!
Yeah it’s definitely a good idea for the future once the overhauling is complete
Keep up the good work everyone! We are all excited to see what is on the way
Hi James.
I’m just starting with Adalo, and so far it looks very good.
As a newcomer, my biggest worry is also the price model. The monthly price of a published app should reflect the app’s actual delivered value, but also, and this is very important in my case, be more or less predictable.
My final decision to stay in Adalo will depend mostly on this. I will be developing Apps for my clients, and of course they want to know how much the app will cost when it is live. If I can’t give them a reasonably accurate answer, I’ll be out of business.
I wish you the best luck in your new position.
Regards.
Hi @DiegoM – we’re working on pricing as we speak and hope to release it before Christmas It won’t have App Actions, and will be add-on based (pay for what you use, but no unpredictability). We’re starting to migrate paying customers over to our new infrastructure, which is very exciting, and I’ll have a big update for everyone shortly.
Hi James.
Thanks for the quick reply. That’s great news, looking forward to it.
Best regards.
This is great but please don’t come out with crazy prices because those of us who have clients can’t change the pricing scheme of your apps… when the new Adalo plan came out we lost many clients because you came out with crazy ideas… our businesses depend on your decisions!
When Adalo did the last price change, they gave current makers 1 year to switch to the new plans, and I think that was an appropriate approach.
I have no problem keeping the same price, with actions that buy packs it is not expensive, but as long as the speed of the app is incredible! Each transition is very slow, showing a list, pressing the back button, etc. I would focus on that, people who use the apps look for speed and do not know how it is developed or anything… that keeps us users using the app! I trust Adalo… come on, it can be done!
Agreed. I’m fine with the current pricing.
If people want to make a free app, it’s not reasonable to expect Adalo to support the cost. If it generates a cost to Adalo, the maker should pay for it.
@james.crennan looking forward to it, keep up the good work guys
There will be no forced pricing changeover for anyone on their current paid plans to new ones, but you can select to change plans if you so wish (I anticipate many will opt to). Regardless, App Actions will no longer be a limit on any plan.
This is great!
I have been developing an application for learning the Hebrew language for several years. The current tariff plan makes it impossible to release a commercial version. The basis is word cards and their alternation in study. All these years I have lived with hope and commitment to the Adalo development environment.
Now I believe that together with Adalo we will be Winners! Each of us will get more satisfied customers. 100%
Hi @james.crennan– Thank you for the update! I really appreciate the hard work you and the Adalo team are putting into these updates—it’s exciting to hear about the progress with the new infrastructure.
I discussed this with you on a call last month, but the system performance has been an issue for us, and it’s unfortunately held us back from marketing our application. That’s why we’re very much anticipating these updates and the improvements they will bring.
I wanted to ask how you’re deciding which customers will be migrated to the new infrastructure first. We’d love to be considered, as these changes would be transformative for our ability to move forward.
Thanks again for everything, and I’m looking forward to hearing more updates soon!
Best,
Matthew
@mtrotta_betvisors We are migrating paid customers right now
Each app takes about 5 minutes. It should be seamless for your customer experience.
Want to skip the queue and migrate? Email me at james.crennan@adalo.com with your app login email so we can find your account, and I’ll send you direct to our team doing the migrations!
We’ll also be doing some db optimizations for you!
Please delete any unnecessary test apps you have first. They will just clog up our migration times.
Hey @james.crennan thanks for taking time and communicate with the people that’s really awesome for a busy man.
There would be more components added to Adalo eventually or there’s been talks about it?
What does the migration consist of? Could you explain it to me or send it to somoskurepa@gmail.com, I have many apps on my Business1 plan and I would like to improve their performance, loading speed and more.
