Adalo 3.0 - big steps forward for Adalo!

No, if you go on maintenance mode ( 8$ per month) you’ll be safe .

Fingers crossed the next update is coming soon :sunglasses: :crossed_fingers:

@Raed - we are doing a number of speed improvements, even this week, and what I would ask is that you hang tight for this week to see what we bring to you.

We’ve found that database indexing on our new, faster databases, plus a number of simple fixes (like don’t calculate metrics inside of lists, and using simple lists where possible) has large performance increases. For everyone reading this, we’ll have more this week!

Beyond the (amazing) work you do, I think a lot of us would be happy if there was an option to choose the quality and power of the server.

thanks James for your replay, i will be waiting…

@james.crennan We just built 2 apps on Adalo over the last 3 months and I really hope they don’t break this week as this is sort of our “launch” week with them. We won’t have a crazy amount of users, only like 25 on one app and about 500 on our PWA only app. I know infrastructure is being updated in the immediate future but I really hope there are checks and balances to prevent crash your paying customers applications during critical times.

Good day, I need assistance in designing and setting up a payment gateway and component with paystack or paypal which does not have a built in one in adalo.

Post in the get help section

Hi all–happy to share our CTO, Jason Gilmore, has done a post on the top 5 ways to improve your app speed here. We’re going to have many more updates rolling out across the next month, but excited to start sharing the speed testing we’ve done and the biggest impacts we can see with regard to app speed!

Hii @james.crennan,

I’m still having constant issues with “server connection” on the builder. Any news on this?
Please, 2 months have past and I’m getting super behind on projects.

No news on my support ticket yet. If I can provide any help or information on the issue I’m here to help!

@nvrjulian – our team pushed a fix for this yesterday! If you, or anyone else, is still experiencing these yellow banners, we want to know!

We’ve also got a version number to add to the yellow banner in staging (being tested) that will help us determine the root cause, so that any instances of this happening again will be faster for us to rectify.

Hi @james.crennan im still waiting to be migrated sent an email already

Hi @james.crennan, do you have an update on when app actions from pricing will be removed? I’m waiting to release my app until this point as I find it impossible to operate with the current restrictions!

Yeees!
Same here, I’m in the process of publishing a new app.

I’m currently on a Professional Plan, but I already have two published apps.
So to proceed, I need to upgrade to Team Plan, the jump of price is substantial.

And in addition I use on average 150k ACTION… so imagine the add up, right?

So, to build up on the question. Is it better for us to wait until Adalo 3.0??
Or is the same scenario to upgrade here?

Thanks!!

Hi James,
Could you please elaborate what killing off App Actions exactly means. I am currently building an educational app whose main feature is solving quizzes and getting points. It has some quite complex in app actions regarding tracking points achieved by every user and updating user’s value for each point (besides that there is also a lot of other update and link actions). Since app is currently totally dependant on those in app actions, what will be options to use for those features to work properly once actions are removed.
Thank you in advance and all the best!

@5plus and here is the answer: Goodbye App Actions billing!
