I’m currently on the Professional plan and have already created a new app from scratch to test this, but I’m still unable to see the option to add a Formula property when editing my collections.
I’ve tried:
• Refreshing the editor.
• Creating a new app and testing in a clean workspace.
• Ensuring I’m not in the legacy database view.
Still, the “Formula” property type is not showing up. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.
Unfortunately you can’t have a “formula” field type in the collections (it is not an Airtable). There is no such capability in Adalo. You’re limited to types present in the screenshot.
I’m currently on the Professional plan, but I’m unable to access the External Collections feature. The “Add External Collection” option does not appear in my database panel, and when I try accessing https://app.adalo.com/external-collections/new directly, the page stays blank with only the Adalo logo showing.
I’ve already tried the following:
Switching browsers (Chrome and Safari),
Using incognito/private mode,
Creating new apps from scratch (Mobile Only layout),
Logging out and back in.
Despite these steps, the feature still doesn’t appear.
I’m unable to access https://app.adalo.com/account to view or regenerate my API key. It loads a blank screen even in incognito mode. I need the API key to connect with Make.com. Can you help me access it?
I already obtained the API key from the collection/API documentation. However, it’s not connecting, so I want to regenerate.
Could you please explain why would you like to access this address? All actions with your app must be done from the app builder, not by using any direct links.
API key is generated from the builder, left pane → Settings → App access → Section “API key” → button “Regenerate API key”.
The API key which you see in Adalo API docs should be working correctly. What error do you get? Are you sure your plan allows you to use Adalo Collections API?
As a general advice - I would recommend creating separate topic for the question which is not related to the original one. This will make life easier for other forum members, e.g. when they search for something.
