I guess url / email might be easily stored as just text, but distinguishing phone number from just number might actually help.

Egor Kunovsky: would prefer specific data types for email and url so that Adalo can do input validation to ensure valid user-inputted values. Since the team is already working on Maps currently, storing the lat/long from a selected location in the Map feature seems necessary. Barcode is usually represented as the integer representation so not sure that needs its own data type. Similarly QR codes are just a graphical representation of text, so a text field is appropriate. The rest of the types seem like “nice to haves” but URL, geo (lat/long), email and phone number all seem like things that have clear needs.

Would love to change a URL that points to a file as a file so that when using the iOS share feature it shows up as a image or PDF not a text file.

Could you consider breaking this list down into smaller feature requests? For example, it seems like a lot of apps would find it important to have at least “phone number” and “currency”. Getting the most popular types completed first would be ideal, rather than waiting to implement ALL types.

Should the ability to limit the number of characters on an input (text, number, otherwise) be included here, or as a separate feature request? Have been searching but can’t find the feature request…

Hi Ben how soon is geolocation rolling out. Without that my app is dead on arrival.

I want a unique ID property like twitter or instagram.
Without it, spoofing can easily occur.

It would be great to also enable rich text formatting so users can add bullets, bold, italic etc…

I am looking forward to hopefully:
Barcode, Geo Location, autonumber, color, multi select. These ones would really help the apps that i am working on. Barcode is a really big one and the multi select out of all them. I need theses for the point of sale system I am working on.
I also am working on a Learning Management System and I really wish we had the rich editor. So my users can create content in one place. The way I have it setup now works, but each “Heading, Sub Heading and Body” takes up a lot of sections within a topic. It would be nice if it was just one field.
