Hey everyone, I want to have a screen where users can sort by recipe type, what’s the best way to set this up/connect it to the database? I’m still fairly new to all of this and it’s a bit overwhelming.

You can’t sort dynamically, so you need multiple lists one for each sort order.
But I think you mean filter. Do you?
Hey Rozza, yes, I guess I mean filter. What’s the best way to do that? Also when I try to select “link to” it doesn’t give me the option of linking to a list in the database, so I’m not sure how to connect it.
You could have a ‘type’ field in your recipe collection. Or you could have a separate recipe_type collection and a relationship to recipe.
As for filtering you have options. Dropdown of recipe_type is easiest.
Thank you! The main problem I’m having right now is, once I have an image list and it’s connected to my database of recipes, how do I get it to link to the actual recipe file?? It doesn’t give me the option t
You need to link to a detail screen (that you have created). Once that link is in place, the Available Data will be there to use in magic text.
