Anyone successfully implemented scheduled data backups for data that’s in Adalo database collections?
Read up a little in these forums and curious who has been through the steps and happy with their solution.
Some things I’m a very nervous about with the Adalo data structure when I export CSVs:
- all relationship columns are ignored (pretty sure this will break apps not having a way to re-build these if the database was needed to be re-built
- GPS location data types in Adalo do not export into CSVs
It just includes a useless abbreviated string that doesn’t transfer back when uploaded. - Images don’t have a full path to be able to map them to images hosted somewhere - which basically means I data were ever lost, there is no way to retrieve images and map them to records
