Add the ability to create deep links to particular pages in apps. This would be useful for websites that want to link to a particular place in an app, email newsletters, and many other usecases.
+1 Trying to link to Google Maps with directions from current location, pre-fill drop-off location Uber/Lyft, etc.
Yes please that would be amazing: users could start sharing their profile. They could also promote the items they sell.
Hello I really need it too
Hey Jeremy Blalock (Adalo) do you have any updates this feature? When should we expecting you to release it.
jack: we have this working for notifications, but we haven’t implemented it for anything else. And we don’t have a definite timeline yet. But seems a lot of people have been asking for it lately!
Jeremy Blalock (Adalo): Thank you for explaining. And yes, I’ve also seen many people in need of it. I will be duplicating the app and using subdomains. It will be huge workload since I will need many. But will persist until you implement. Looking forward to it.
jack: it’s also worth noting, if you’re wanting permalinks to specific pages, you can already actually do that today on the web. Where it’s challenging is if you want to use these links or you want to do deep links on mobile. This feature request originally was for mobile, as web already has part of this.
Jeremy Blalock (Adalo): I need to create urls for specific stores and when coming from that url, user will directly go to a screen which selects “current store” defined in the link as default.
But if that is not possible for now, I was planning to duplicate same pages as new app for every store (all connected to same database), and manually create subdomains for them.
I was originally planning to use PWA, but now I understand that I can consider using the web app while waiting for permanant solution for PWA. I will duplicate the pages in the same app instead of creating many apps, and then copy the urls of each of them. This will save a significant workload, if I can make the web app mobile friendly which I didn’t use before. Thank you!!
Hello, that would be amazing for my app too. People could share content. Unless people share content and attract their own connexions, it’s hard to retain them.
For an interim feature I wonder if adding an app link that simply opens the app if it’s installed, even if it’s not able to link to specific pages, like mentioned in the first half of this article. Just opening the app instead of the PWA from a link would be a huge win IMO. And it looks like it may only be a few lines of code in the manifest file needed to handle opening the app from a link.
i.e. This would allow for links in verification emails to bring them back to the app. Or marketing emails and display adds.

I’m sure you all know this, just a thought that may be a quicker implementation, and could bridge the gap between full deep linking and nothing.

Jeremy Blalock (Adalo): Hi Jeremy, is there more info on permalinks somewhere? Is there a way to have clean URLs for different screens? Thank you in advance.
Yes please!
This is much needed guys. Just make it quick please
It shouldn’t especially work for linking to particular pages in apps. It can be very useful for apps that have both web and mobile versions by helping users access PWA page URLs from the app so that users can share links of a particular post / user / content page redirecting the web app. Jeremy Blalock (Adalo).
Is there currently a workaround for this? If not, is something that can be added by a 3rd party developer to my app?
This is so much needed, we are waiting… Thank you Adalo
So much waiting this feature too! Thanks, team
Adding a request for this feature - need to find a way to link to specific profile. Thank you!
