Hello! I have done some work on this but it’s beyond my limited dev capabilities. I’m more of a business analyst than a developer. I am building an app in Adalo as a POC and initial market test, so funds are limited, but I’m realistic and will pay for time/work on a fixed price.
I’ve found a library that does precisely what I need (in terms of UI sortation) (DND-Kit - Sortable Table) Webpack App
Sadly this is not a REACT NATIVE library… and my preference is for react native. There is another React Native library that might form the basis of the project: react-native-draggable-flatlist
Application integration: I’m currently using the Adalo Collections for Database storage, and have built out most of the app ready for testing, but the native list UI options are not good enough.
I have internal Adalo ‘collection’ for user defined ‘Categories’ which are ‘user’ specific, the categories can ‘nest’ one deep ie categories and sub categories. The UI should enable users to CRUD categories and sub categories. Changes to the draggable sort order, and CRUD should be stored in the database.
Categories and Sub Categories have child ‘Category Items’. The UI should display a count of ‘Category Items’. Delete should only be possible when child item count is zero (To prevent orphaned child category items) The parent Category on Category Items can be changed on the edit Category Item Screen.
Ownership / IP. I am open to discuss shared IP/Ownership of the resulting Component Library and I think this will be highly relevant to most Adalo users… given the emphasis on list elements in the adalo UI.
The timescale is open but it is one of our focusses.
