Error Message: You can't edit the same app in different applications

Has anyone seen or gotten this error message today, or as of lately? We are not logged in anywhere else and have cleared our cache.

“There is already an instance of this app running. You can switch to other apps using the App Switcher or the Team Switcher.”

We already submitted a support ticket.

Hi there!

Yes, you can’t open a new tab or new browser with the same app link. We have blocked the editing of applications in multiple tabs/browsers/by different people, as it could lead to progress not being saved.

Users will also be marked inactive if they have an idle tab for more than an hour. If you see this in a previously inactive tab, you can reload your tab and it should work (if there are no other instances open).

Please check all your tabs and windows for any idle window! If you have collaborators, you should check with them too.

There are no tabs open and it still appears.

Yes…not only deleting your cache but also making sure you do the advanced method as well that pertains to your app! I did this and it worked!

Hey all–this is a interim push we have done to stop one of the biggest objections we get–multiple tabs open looking at the same app causes versioning issues with the Adalo database, and hence makers ended up losing work.

We’re doing this to let you know that another tab somewhere has your app open, so if you were to edit while this is happening, your work would be lost!
