Export CSV file deliminator

Hello,

When I export database records, it spits out a CSV file. When I try opening this file with Excel, the data is jumbled around. Anyone know what the deliminator is, in order for excel to split the data the proper way?

csv (comma separated values) default delimiter is comma.

Yes, but when I choose the comma, the data is not properly aligned and is all over the place

Unfortunately, this does not help.

Anyone?

Hello,
Open your .csv file with a basic text editor and you will easily see the delimiter used.
.csv is a very boring format because the delimiter change with your language. For exemple, in french, the delimiter is ;
You can try / too, sometime .tsv file are nammed .csv cause of habit.

I just tested and my delimiter is a comma on a PC with english settings.
