External Link action opens Safari but loads wrong/broken URL — iOS native build only (works fine in preview & direct Safari)

I have a Text component with a single Click Action set to “External Link,” pointing to a public Google Forms link -“When does this happen” is Always, “Use In-App Browser” is toggled off. In Adalo’s web/staging preview, this works correctly. In my compiled iOS app (tested via TestFlight), tapping it does open Safari - but I see the attached image.I’ve confirmed the link itself is correct and working: pasting the exact same url directly into mobile Safari opens the form with no issue. Bottom line -It works during staging, but not during my ios testflight build. Any ideas? Liz

Hi @IFIOgirl,

What happens if you try with a new TestFlight build after turning on the ‘Use in-app Browser’ toggle or try with a long URL (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfiE3h74aGITTL-9lWY3YwlKQxDyMQ8LGm8lOOCDOA1iv-pkQ/viewform)?

Thank you and have a great day!

Thanks Dilon I will give this a try and report back. i appreciate your help. Liz

Dilon I plugged in the long url and turned on the in app browser and it did not work and then I ungrouped the components and it worked!! But the components where all over the place… So I grouped them back again and it continues to work. So, I have no idea what actually got it working again but it IS working again and so I am celebrating the win. Thanks for helping solve another Pour Recall problem. hahaha.
