Food ordering app to trigger noise on computer?

I was at a friends restaurant that happened to have a food ordering app on their computer. When people placed an order, a loud “DING” would go off notifying of an order has been placed. Can the Adalo web apps trigger a notification like this? Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

@Jade I dont think Adalo can directly trigger notifications on webapp/desktop computers. However you could either:

  • trigger an email and have a notification ping when that email is received

  • Trigger through the API to another service like Web Push Notifications- Re-engage website visitors

  • As above but using either Integromat or Xapier which is slightly easier as they often do the hard work for you
