I’m currently building a app using Adalo and need some assistance with setting up a calendar to display recurring classes. Here’s a brief overview of my setup:
Collections:
Classes Collection: Contains individual class instances with specific dates and times.
Recurring Collection: Manages recurrence patterns for classes (e.g., days of the week, start and end dates).
Booking Collection: Tracks user sign-ups for each class.
Objective: I want to display all classes, including recurring ones, on a calendar screen in the app. The dates should be ongoing, and users should be able to see all available classes.
Questions**:
- What event should be displayed** on the calendar to ensure both one-time and recurring classes are visible?
- What filters should be toggled on**? Should I focus on classes or recurring class schedules?
- What custom filters should I set up to manage this effectively? How should these be configured in Adalo?
Additional Context:
I’m considering using automation tools like Zapier to handle the creation of recurring class instances, but I’m unsure how to sync this with the calendar.
Any tips on setting up the calendar component or managing the data flow between collections would be greatly appreciated.
