I ran into a similar issue, and what helped me was switching to Sheetcast since it connects your spreadsheet directly to your app like a live database. I kept my data in Google Sheets, and it synced changes automatically, which saved me a lot of time messing with collections manually. It made setting up user roles and dynamic screens way easier too.
