How do I automatically save the time a user inputs data in a form?

Hello all! I am building an app to help people with anxiety, and have connected Zapier. I am trying to have a specific database in Adalo automatically save the time a user inputs the data through a form. This is in order to have Zapier be able to send reminders to users. How do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance!

Hello! Great idea for the app, love what you’re building!

For the time input, you don’t actually need Zapier to save it for you. Adalo can store the timestamp automatically when the form is submitted in case you’re creating or updating a record.

In case you’d like a separate property in the database for the time when submitting a form, you can follow the next steps to do it:

  1. In your collection, add a Date/Time property called something like “Submitted At.”

  2. In your form, you can add an (Automatic field), and select that new property, then add (Current time) through (Magic Text).

  3. In Zapier, use that field to trigger your reminder flow or calculate delays.

Let me know if you want help choosing the best setup for your flow!
