I was wondering how to have a filter category work, I have these categories set up and when the user clicks the toggle for these categories they will be taken to another page of deck swiper where only the user in that category is shown, and this is the relationship I have. (it is not working right now)

Seems like the filtering is correct and it should work!
Did you check correctly that which users you have to see with other custom filters? Did you try removing the filter and adding it again?
Just for information : If you have connected the toggle to a property then you don’t need a Update action to do the same job!
