How to make an application recommend things according to your tastes?

I need help with this… In my application I want you to recommend things according to your tastes, how can I do that? My idea was to use hashdacks in the “types” so when the user signs that he liked it, more “types” that have those hashdacks are recommended, I don’t know how effective it is, but if someone has a better idea of how to achieve this, I will take into account thank you

So if the user adds his taste as sweet then the foods that match for sweet taste displays right? Is it possible you to show your current setup? Could you explain a bit more of how you like this to be?
