Hi all! I’m having trouble getting IAPHUB, Adalo and Apple to play nicely together for my auto-renew subscriptions. I’ve attempted to follow all the documentation from IAPHUB and Adalo and app store connect but some of the documentation is out of date and the screens don’t match. I cant’ see a sandbox option in my testing device (iphone 17 pro) and I keep getting error messages when I try to test a subscription purchase. All of my product SKUs are set up, I have them listed and published in IAPHUB, I have all my paid agreements active etc etc but it’s still failing. Can anyone offer any advice please? I’ve been stuck on this step for the last couple weeks! Thanks
Hi @Veronica,
You’re testing through TestFlight right?
If you don’t see that sandbox section to add the sandbox account in your device, that’s not a problem (and would needed when testing through TestFlight) as when you click on the subscribe button in the app, it should open up the payment modal which can submit a test payment. Do you see the products returned in the screen which having issues in interacting them or the products are not displayed? What’s the status for the added subscriptions in Apple Store Connect? From which email address you’ve logged in to the app?
Let me know!
Thank you and have a great day!
Yes I’m testing through TestFllight. When I click on the button in the app it doesn’t return the product and gives me an error message. The added subscriptions are all ready to submit status and I’ve logged into the app using a test account email.
Hi @Veronica,
Thanks for the information!
Would you be able to share some screenshots or a screen recording?
Thank you and have a great day!
This is what happens when I click on the purchase button

Hi @Veronica,
Thanks for the screenshot!
It looks like it’s regarding this error message which something might be not correctly configured in Apple side. : transaction_not_found (SDK Reference - buy | IAPHUB)
Few questions,
- Does the subscriptions statuses are either ‘Missing Metadata’ or ‘Ready to Submit’?
- Are the correct IDs from created subscriptions from Apple side copy-pasted in IAPHUB products?
- Are the same IDs copy-pasted in the component (it looks like you’re using a custom layout with the buy button so in the buy button component) either hardcoded or coming from a collection?
- Once everything is same, did you published a new listing in IAPHUB side?
- Have you configured Apple Store Server Notifications to make the sync a bit quicker or not?
- The entered app bundle_id is correct right?
- Is the ‘IAPHUB Start’ component runs correctly before coming to this paywall page?
- You sure the ‘Paid Applications Agreement’ is signed and is active? Also there was a new agreement like ‘Paid Applications Schedule’ if I remember that correctly (you can check the home page of the Apple Store Connect), have you checked that?
- Your Apple Store dev account subscription is active and not expired right?
Thank you and have a great day!
