PDF Viewer component β€” coming to the Adalo Marketplace πŸ‘€

Hey Adalo community :waving_hand:

I’ve been building a PDF Viewer component for Adalo and it’s currently under review for the Marketplace.

It lets you display any PDF natively inside your Adalo app β€” iOS, Android, and Web β€” without redirecting users to an external browser or hacking together a workaround.

What it does:

  • :mobile_phone: Works on iOS, Android & Web β€” one component, all platforms
  • :magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Full-text search β€” users can search inside the document
  • :outbox_tray: Native share sheet β€” share or save the PDF via AirDrop, Mail, Files
  • :high_voltage: One property to set β€” just paste a URL, done
  • :link: Works with Magic Text & database File fields β€” dynamic, per-user PDFs
  • :sparkles: Liquid glass–styled toolbar

The use cases I had in mind: e-books, contracts, invoices, user manuals, menus β€” anything where you’re currently telling users to β€œtap here to open in your browser” (we’ve all been there ).

If you’ve ever run into the PDF problem in Adalo, I’d love to know what you were building β€” it helps me make sure the component covers the right use cases.

Drop your email at adalo-pdfviewer.pages.dev to get notified the moment it’s live.

β€” Seif
