Planned maintenance - Sunday 1 Feb 1am Central Time - 2 hours

Hi all, we’ve planned maintenance taking place on Sunday 1am Central Time (9am CET) that is scheduled to last for 2 hours. During this time, we’ll be switching infrastructure over to better handle scale, load and stability. This is a direct result from the downtime we recently experienced, and is preventative action to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

We’ll all be on standby in case anything goes wrong. The status page is showing the maintenance is planned to go for 2 hours.

This will give Adalo High Availability, so not only redundancy within our infrastructure (Failover), but a whole separate mirror installation on another set of completely different infrastructure that will give continuity in case the first set of complete infrastructure failing. That’s part of our commitment to delivering true stability, scale and speed.

In less than two weeks we hope to unveil something that is truly incredible

Thanks for the info.

Will system performance remain the same after the change? @james.crennan @Dilon
Thanks!

Hey Nadav, yes it should. However, this maintenance has to do with doing a permanent rectification of the kubernetes infrastructure we were using that led to the last downtime, so we’re going to be very careful.

Okay, because the recent performance has been excellent.
I would appreciate it if you could update whether the performance is the same.

Performance will be the same. Great that it has been good! It’s going to get better once we release our secret project soon.

Maintenance went well. We’ll have some rolling planned maintenances going forward through Februrary, and we don’t anticipate any problems. This will be building significant business continuity and stability contingencies for Adalo.
